Iran Paused Ceasefire Retaliation After Pakistan Intervention

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh revealed that Tehran had been prepared to respond to a ceasefire violation last night but refrained following Pakistan’s diplomatic intervention.

In an interview, Khatibzadeh confirmed that an Iranian delegation will visit Islamabad to participate in peace negotiations. He also urged the United States to halt Israeli attacks on Lebanon, stressing that Lebanon’s involvement is crucial for regional stability.

“The coming hours are critical,” he said, highlighting the delicate situation in the region. Pakistan’s mediation has played a key role in preventing immediate escalation, reflecting its growing role in facilitating Middle East diplomacy.
