Iran Offers to Reduce Enrichment to 3.6% in Draft Deal with US

Date:

Washington, USA – Web Desk: An Arab diplomat revealed that Iran has presented a draft nuclear deal proposal to the United States, offering to reduce its uranium enrichment from 60% to 3.6%.

According to the diplomat, the Iranian proposal also includes a seven-year suspension of higher-level enrichment. Israeli media reports indicate that Washington is not currently demanding zero enrichment but is seeking the transfer of Iran’s existing enriched uranium stock abroad. Iran has refused to move its highly enriched uranium out of the country.

Israel’s media reports further claim that Iran has offered to dilute its highly enriched uranium. Meanwhile, the United States is reportedly seeking a ten-year suspension of Iran’s nuclear program—a condition the Iranian proposal may not fully satisfy.

The diplomatic standoff has raised concerns over the possibility of renewed U.S. military action against Iran in the near future, according to Israeli sources.
