Iran FM Says Neighboring Countries Are Top Priority

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has emphasized that neighboring countries remain Tehran’s top priority as he announced upcoming visits to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow.

In a statement posted on X, Araghchi said he would soon depart for the visits, describing them as timely engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing regional coordination.

“The purpose of these visits is to maintain close consultation with partners on bilateral issues and regional developments,” he said.

Reaffirming Iran’s diplomatic approach, the foreign minister stated: “Our neighbors are our priority.”

The visits come at a time of heightened regional tensions, with Iran seeking to deepen diplomatic engagement and reinforce ties with key partners across the region.
