Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, praising Islamabad’s sustained efforts to help end the ongoing conflict in the region.
During the call, Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and responsible role in promoting peace and stability, particularly its contribution to advancing ceasefire efforts. He described Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement as effective and consistent amid rising regional tensions.
The Iranian foreign minister also discussed reported ceasefire violations by Israel in Iran and Lebanon, highlighting concerns over continued instability in the region.
In an earlier statement, Araghchi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, acknowledging their “tireless efforts” to de-escalate tensions and push for peace.
The development underscores Pakistan’s growing diplomatic role in regional conflict resolution and its engagement in efforts aimed at restoring stability in the Middle East.
