Iran Cluster Missile Strike on Israel Kills One, Injures Four

Date:

Tel Aviv, Israel – Web Desk: Iran launched multiple ballistic missile strikes on Israel overnight, including a cluster warhead missile, leaving one person dead and at least four others seriously injured, according to international media reports.

The attacks began shortly after midnight, with Iran reportedly firing seven missiles toward Israel. Israeli authorities said air defense systems intercepted several incoming missiles, including one believed to carry a cluster warhead.

Despite interception claims, fragments from the cluster missile reportedly fell across parts of central Israel. Emergency services said debris struck a construction site, where several workers were present.

Rescue officials confirmed that one of the injured individuals later died in hospital from critical wounds, while four others remain in serious condition.

In a separate incident in another area, a woman was injured after being hit by missile fragments and suffered a severe head injury, according to local rescue authorities.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said it carried out retaliatory strikes inside Iran, targeting multiple military and paramilitary facilities. Among the reported targets were bases belonging to Iran’s military and paramilitary forces in Isfahan.

Israeli officials said the strikes hit positions linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Basij forces, as well as missile launching sites and facilities involved in manufacturing rocket engines.

Separately, Iran also launched attacks targeting US military bases and oil facilities in Gulf countries including Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

Authorities in Bahrain reported that at least 32 people were injured after a missile struck a residential area.

Officials in the United Arab Emirates also reported a fire breaking out at an oil facility following an attack, while separate incidents involving falling missile debris have raised the total death toll from related strikes to four.

The escalating exchanges between Iran, Israel, and regional actors have heightened concerns of a broader Middle East conflict, with international observers warning of growing risks to regional stability and global energy security.
