Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s military has claimed responsibility for a missile attack on a US military base in Kuwait, stating that it struck a US Patriot missile defense system at Camp Arifjan using surface-to-surface missiles .
Iranian Claim
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards-linked news agency Tasnim reported that the attack was carried out on Monday, targeting the US Patriots at the camp. However, US and Kuwaiti officials have not yet confirmed or denied the claim .
Tanker Incident
Separately, the semi-official Fars news agency reported that a Greek oil tanker was struck by an unknown projectile near Iran’s southern maritime borders, causing it to stop in the sea. Another Kuwaiti tanker was also reportedly hit by an unknown projectile in the Strait of Hormuz earlier .
