(Web Desk) – A coordinated campaign to malign Pakistan after the Sydney attack stood discredited, with propaganda claims found false.
Claims of Pakistan-hostile propaganda behind the Sydney attack circulated without credible basis. Sections of Indian media spread false images on social media as part of a malicious and organised effort to malign Pakistan.
Turning a human tragedy into a political and propaganda battle remains condemnable in all circumstances. Viral videos and false allegations on social media stand against humanity. An organised attempt to target Pakistan ignored the real human story. False videos and fabricated data led to unfounded allegations against Pakistan.
No credible international source supported allegations against Pakistan. Coordinated falsehoods and propaganda circulated at the global level to damage Pakistan’s name. Amid attempts to malign Pakistan, genuine acts of human courage and sacrifice received little attention. Muslim hero Ahmed al-ahmad showed that bravery and humanity carry no boundaries of religion or race.
Terrorism bears no link to any nation or faith. Reporting based on truth and human empathy remains essential. Targeting Pakistan aimed to divert attention from extremism, support for victims, and the peaceful identity of Muslims.
