New DOJ-released Epstein documents reference Pakistani leaders, sparking global attention
Washington, USA | Web Desk — Newly released Jeffrey Epstein files by the US Department of Justice have revealed the names of hundreds of influential global figures, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Media reports indicate that the documents include emails, meetings, and correspondences related to Epstein’s network, though Pakistan-related mentions are limited and largely non-political. Some emails reference public health programs, such as polio eradication, and communications involving the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Other non-political mentions include shipments of Pakistani clothing and apparel preferences.
The files also show references to US President Donald Trump; however, Trump has denied any wrongdoing, stating the documents contain no evidence of illegal activity. Experts caution that the presence of names in the Epstein files should not be interpreted as allegations, as most references are limited to correspondence and personal opinions rather than direct involvement.
The release of these documents has reignited global debate about the extent of Epstein’s network and its connections with powerful figures worldwide.
