Houthis Launch Second Drone Strike on Israel Amid Iran War

Date:

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Web Desk: Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militia launched their second attack on Israel on Monday since the escalation of the Iran war, media reports confirmed.

The Israeli military claimed to have intercepted two drones originating from Yemen, though officials did not provide further details on casualties or damage.

The Houthis entered the conflict last Saturday, firing missiles at Israeli targets, further escalating tensions across the Middle East. This latest attack comes one day after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Washington and Tehran are engaged in “direct and indirect” talks, describing Iran’s new leadership as “more sensible.”

Meanwhile, the United States has deployed additional troops to the region in response to the escalating crisis. Pakistan, acting as a mediator between Tehran and Washington, announced it is preparing to host “meaningful negotiations” in the coming days aimed at ending the month-long Iran conflict.

Analysts warn that continued Houthi missile and drone strikes could further destabilize the region, disrupt energy supplies, and heighten tensions in key shipping routes such as the Red Sea and Strait of Hormuz.
