KARACHI (Web Desk) – Gold prices surged sharply on Monday, touching record highs in both international and local markets.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold jumped by $62 per ounce, reaching a new historic peak of $4,400 per ounce. The strong upward trend shows no signs of slowing down as gold continues to shine amid global uncertainty.

Following the global increase, gold prices in Pakistan also shot through the roof.

The price of one tola of gold rose by a massive Rs6,200 to reach a new all-time high of Rs462,362.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,315, climbing to Rs396,400. Traders say the market is red-hot, and buyers are feeling the heat as prices keep breaking previous records.
