Gold Prices Surge Again: Local and Global Markets Hit Highs

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Gold prices surged again on Tuesday, continuing a recent upward trend in both local and international markets.

In the global bullion market, the price of gold increased by $28 per ounce, pushing the international rate to $4,560 per ounce. The spike in global prices influenced local markets, where gold saw a substantial rise.

In Pakistan’s local market, the price of gold per tola jumped by PKR 2,800, reaching PKR 478,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by PKR 2,401, now standing at PKR 410,461.

Silver prices also saw an upward movement. Internationally, silver rose to $73 per ounce. Locally, the price per tola increased by PKR 260 to PKR 7,784, and 10 grams of silver rose by PKR 223 to PKR 6,673.

This increase follows similar gains recorded in previous sessions, reflecting rising demand and global market trends.
