Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend in both global and local markets on Friday, driven by strong international bullion market gains.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $25 per ounce to reach $5,037, reflecting ongoing investor demand amid global economic uncertainty.
Following the global surge, the price of gold in Pakistan increased by Rs2,500 per tola, reaching Rs526,462 per tola, according to market sources. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs2,144 to Rs451,356.
Silver prices also recorded gains, with the price of silver per tola rising by Rs170 to Rs8,574, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs145 to Rs7,350.
Market analysts attribute the continued rise in precious metal prices to global inflation concerns, currency volatility, and increased demand for safe-haven assets.
