KARACHI, Pakistan – Web Desk : Gold and silver prices rebounded sharply today after a brief decline in both global and local markets, market sources reported on March 10, 2026.
In international bullion markets, gold rose by $62 per ounce on Tuesday, pushing the new global price to $5,168 per ounce.
Locally, 24-carat gold per tola increased by PKR 6,200 to PKR 539,562, while the price per 10 grams rose by PKR 5,316 to PKR 462,587.
Silver also experienced a significant rise, with the per-tola price increasing by PKR 460 to PKR 9,354, and the per 10-gram price rising by PKR 394 to PKR 8,019.
Analysts attribute the surge to renewed investor demand and fluctuations in international bullion markets, as well as currency exchange trends affecting local pricing.
