Four-Foot Snake Found at Stadium Before Pakistan vs India Match

Colombo, Sri Lanka – Web Desk: A four-foot-long snake was found inside the stadium in Colombo ahead of the high-profile Pakistan vs India match at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, media reports said on Friday.

According to reports, the snake was spotted before the Pakistan cricket team’s practice session. Ground staff quickly captured the reptile and handed it over to local wildlife authorities to ensure the safety of players, officials, and spectators.

The highly anticipated Pakistan-India clash is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm local time, drawing millions of viewers worldwide due to the intense rivalry between the two teams.

Sri Lanka has previously reported similar incidents, with snakes occasionally appearing in stadiums during international matches, highlighting the region’s tropical wildlife environment.

Authorities confirmed there were no injuries and no disruption to match preparations.
