Fire engulfs factory in Karachi’s Landhi Export Processing Zone

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Workers were made to leave a factory in Landhi Export Processing Zone, Karachi after fire erupted in it on Thursday.

The fire soon engulfed the entire unit.

Seven fire tenders and one snorkel were busy extinguishing the fire till last reports came in.

Three weeks ago, a sudden fire broke out in Lunda Bazaar in the city’s business center Lighthouse, as a result of which several stalls were burnt to ashes.

According to HRNW News, the fire engulfed several stalls of clothes as soon as it was seen.

Rescue officials said that the fire broke out in the Lunda stalls near the Lighthouse, and fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene as soon as the information was received.
