Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk : Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in combat dress, a move regarded as highly symbolic of Pakistan’s enduring solidarity with its longtime ally, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, also attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, drew attention because the Field Marshal appeared in full military Combat Dress, rather than the ceremonial uniform usually worn during foreign visits. Military analysts view this as a clear signal of Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to Saudi Arabia, particularly in the context of longstanding defence agreements and regional security cooperation.
Officials emphasized that the gesture underscores Pakistan’s readiness to support Saudi Arabia’s defense and its intent to strengthen bilateral military ties.
The visit highlights the strategic depth of Pakistan-Saudi relations and reflects a renewed commitment to regional security amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
