FBI Foils Drone and Sniper Plot Targeting White House UFC Event

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has foiled a chilling plot to attack the White House during a high-profile Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event attended by President Donald Trump, arresting five suspects and identifying 23 potential co-conspirators .

The alleged plan, discovered on June 10, involved using explosive-laden drones to strike buildings near the White House during the UFC Freedom 250 event on Sunday, creating mass panic that would drive the fleeing crowd toward a pre-positioned sniper team . A second wave of attackers was then reportedly planning to storm the White House gates .

Investigators uncovered the scheme after the mother of 19-year-old Tycen Proper, one of the arrested suspects, contacted authorities expressing concern over his recent firearms purchases and online communications with a group expressing anti-government and ultra-religious sentiments .

The suspects, arrested across four states—Ohio, California, Missouri, and Nebraska—were identified as Tycen Proper, Bryan Roa, Michael Thomas, Daniel Eskridge, and Abraham Alvarez . Proper admitted during FBI questioning that the group aimed to “jumpstart a revolution in the United States” .

Court documents reveal that the group communicated through encrypted messaging app Signal, with one large chat containing approximately 19 members coordinating the attack, and smaller groups organized by roles or locations . They allegedly discussed targeting politicians, billionaires, and individuals they associated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) or perceived as part of the U.S. elite .

FBI Director Kash Patel praised the operation, stating that “multiple individuals are now in custody and allegedly planned attacks were stopped cold” . The investigation involved at least 12 FBI field offices across the country .

The suspects face charges including conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States, and weapons offenses . A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 29 .

Approximately 4,300 VIPs, officials, and active military members attended the historic event on the White House South Lawn, which marked both Trump’s 80th birthday and the kickoff of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations .
