Islamabad, Pakistan — Web Desk: Senator Faisal Vawda has criticised Federal Minister Rana Sanaullah over claims that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was offered a political “deal,” questioning when, where and how such an offer was made.
In a statement on social media platform X, Vawda said political tactics and subtle manoeuvres are outdated, warning Sanaullah against making speculative political claims. He challenged the federal minister to provide details of the alleged offers, suggesting the claims may exist only in the government’s imagination.
Vawda argued that the ruling coalition should consider itself fortunate that Imran Khan did not accept any such arrangement, claiming that if a deal had been accepted, Khan would have continued pursuing political accountability against rival politicians.
He added that no other political figure possesses the resolve or influence to challenge the PTI founder in the same way, urging the government to rethink its political strategy. Vawda concluded his remarks by cautioning Sanaullah against “firing political arrows in the air” and extended Ramadan greetings.
The exchange highlights ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, as debate continues over negotiations, accountability, and power dynamics between the government and opposition parties.
