Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Faheem Ashraf, all-rounder for Islamabad United, has said he prioritises team victories over personal milestones, describing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as a “game-changing platform” for emerging talent worldwide.
In an interview with local media, Ashraf shared insights into his team’s performance in the ongoing Pakistan Super League season, acknowledging that Islamabad United’s results have not been entirely ideal despite remaining optimistic about qualifying for the playoffs.
He noted that missed opportunities and a washed-out match had impacted the team’s position on the points table, adding that narrow defeats still offer valuable learning experiences.
“Our main target is to secure a place in the top four, and if possible, push for the top two,” he said.
Ashraf highlighted PSL’s importance in his career, calling it a turning point that provides international exposure to players. He also praised Islamabad United’s positive team culture and strong internal system.
“The team’s success always comes first,” he said. “Even a small contribution towards a win is my real achievement.”
