KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, delivered a powerful address at the 25th Annual Convention of the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP), emphasizing the province’s commitment to professional excellence, infrastructure development, and sustainable economic growth. In a separate high-level meeting, he also welcomed the delegation of the Saudi-Pak Joint Business Council, led by Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud, marking a significant moment in Sindh’s international investment outreach.
At the MAP convention, the Chief Minister praised the association’s six-decade legacy of promoting management innovation and leadership development. “MAP has become a beacon of excellence, preparing future leaders through strategic training and fostering a culture of learning across sectors,” he said. He highlighted Karachi’s role as Pakistan’s economic engine and stressed the importance of human capital, digital transformation, and merit-based governance in driving sustainable progress.
Shah also outlined key provincial initiatives, including the expansion of the Bus Rapid Transit system, completion of the K-IV water supply scheme, and major investments in healthcare and vocational training. He reaffirmed the Sindh government’s support for MAP’s mission and called for stronger public-private collaboration to meet evolving global challenges.
In his meeting with the Saudi delegation, Shah extended a warm welcome to Prince Mansour and expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s interest in Sindh’s development. “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a bond rooted in trust and brotherhood,” he said, noting that the Saudi-Pak Joint Business Council has opened new avenues for bilateral cooperation.
The Chief Minister invited Saudi investors to explore opportunities in agriculture, livestock, energy, mining, construction, and food security—sectors central to Sindh’s Government-to-Business (G2B) strategy. He emphasized the potential for Business-to-Business (B2B) partnerships, technology transfer, and SME development, and highlighted Sindh’s pioneering Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework as a model for sustainable investment.
“Through PPP, G2B, and B2B collaboration, we can build lasting partnerships that enhance performance, drive innovation, and expand trade,” Shah stated. He reaffirmed Sindh’s commitment to creating a secure, stable, and professionally driven business environment, and thanked the Saudi leadership for their vision and support.
Concluding both engagements, Shah called on stakeholders to work together in building a Sindh that exemplifies economic strength, good governance, and global competitiveness. “Let us move forward with sincerity and shared purpose to shape a prosperous future for Sindh and Pakistan,” he said.
