Beijing, China – Web Desk: China has instructed its citizens residing in Iran to leave the country immediately due to escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. In a statement released on social media, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised Chinese nationals to take precautionary measures and, if possible, depart Iran without delay. The ministry also recommended avoiding travel to Iran at this time.
The advisory follows a series of heightened alerts in the region. The United Kingdom, citing increased risks from potential U.S. attacks, temporarily recalled staff from its Tehran embassy, which continues to operate remotely. Similarly, the U.S. embassy in Israel informed certain non-essential personnel and their families that they may leave the country as a precaution.
Officials stressed that these measures are precautionary, reflecting concerns over rising military activity and regional instability. Countries across the Middle East are monitoring the situation closely as tensions between the United States and Iran continue to intensify.
