Beijing, China – Web Desk: China has once again expressed support for Pakistan’s efforts to mediate in the ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
A spokesperson for the ministry said that China supports Pakistan’s constructive and balanced diplomatic role aimed at promoting peace and ending conflict. Beijing emphasized that it will continue working with Islamabad to contribute positively toward restoring stability and peace in the Middle East.
The spokesperson also confirmed that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit China from May 23 to May 26. During the visit, leaders from both countries are expected to discuss bilateral relations as well as key regional and global issues.
China and Pakistan have repeatedly called for peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy, reinforcing their joint position on regional stability.
