WASHINGTON – Web Desk: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has testified before a US House committee regarding convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, stating that he hopes his testimony will help pave the way for justice for victims, according to reports.
According to reports, Gates continued to meet with Epstein even after the financier was indicted. Gates’ name appeared in the Epstein files released by the US Department of Justice, which included approximately 3 million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos. Gates previously apologized to Bill Gates Foundation staff after his name appeared in the Epstein files, acknowledging that he made mistakes that damaged the foundation’s humanitarian work.
Gates insisted that he had no part in Epstein’s crimes, stating that his association with Epstein was intended to build relationships with philanthropists. He said he did nothing illegal nor witnessed any illegal activity.
