Seattle, USA – Web Desk: Microsoft co-founder and one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, Bill Gates, has apologized to the staff of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation following the disclosure of his name in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Gates expressed regret for the mistakes that he said caused reputational harm to the foundation, which is dedicated to humanitarian causes. He emphasized that he had no involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities, and his interactions with Epstein were solely intended to connect with philanthropists. Gates stated he neither engaged in nor witnessed any illegal activity.
The revelations follow the release by the U.S. Department of Justice of more than 3 million pages of documents, 180,000 photographs, and 2,000 videos related to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, shedding light on his extensive criminal network.
Legal and philanthropic experts note that while Gates’ appearance in the documents has raised questions, his public statements underscore his commitment to the foundation’s mission and clarify that his engagement with Epstein was limited to philanthropy-related discussions.
