Karachi (Web Desk) – Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned Israel’s military action against Iran, describing it as a serious threat to regional stability and international peace.
In a statement, he said the Israeli operation risks further escalation in the Middle East and diverts attention from ongoing humanitarian concerns, including civilian suffering in Gaza. He characterised the strike as an act of aggression and urged all sides to exercise restraint.
The PPP leader called on the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take immediate measures to halt hostilities and safeguard regional security. He stressed that violations of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be addressed through international diplomatic mechanisms.
Bhutto Zardari warned that continued escalation could have far-reaching consequences for peace and stability and reiterated Pakistan’s support for diplomatic solutions to global disputes.
Israeli authorities stated that their operation targets security concerns linked to Iran’s nuclear programme, while Iran vowed to defend its sovereignty. The developments have heightened fears of broader regional instability and potential economic repercussions.
