Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir – Web Desk: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has launched a blistering attack on the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), accusing it of using Kashmir for political purposes and undermining the will of the people in Azad Jammu and Kashmir .
Allegations of Electoral Manipulation
Speaking to party workers, Bilawal claimed that the PPP had secured a majority mandate from the people of Mirpur, and that it was now the party’s duty to protect the people’s votes. He specifically alleged that PML-N was attempting to form a government through “force and backdoor channels” and “by firing bullets and killing people.”
Bilawal rejected the election result in one constituency, stating he was “not ready to accept” the defeat of a party candidate in his home constituency, accusing PML-N of employing the same tactics as in previous elections.
Accusations of Exploiting Kashmir
Bilawal warned the state of Pakistan to “open its eyes” to what he described as PML-N’s exploitation of Kashmir for its own interests. He made it clear that the PPP would not stand with anyone for PML-N’s interests and vowed that Azad Kashmir would never become “occupied Kashmir.”
Standing with the State
While strongly condemning PML-N, Bilawal reaffirmed that the PPP stands with the state and the national interest, declaring, “We are with the state of Pakistan” and “we say Pakistan Zindabad.”
