Bhutto STEM Scholarship programme announced for Sindh students

(Web Desk) – Opportunities for the students of Sindh to study at Oxford University as in collaboration with the Oxford Pakistan Programme, Bhutto STEM Scholarship programme was announced on Thursday.

Under the programme for the year, 2026-27, scholarships would be offered to the students of masters, MPhil and PhD.

Sindh Minister for Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that the step was a gift from PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the students of the province. “These scholarships are meant for Lady Margaret Hall and the University of Oxford,” he said, and added, “The students of science, technology, engineering, and Mathematics will receive preference. Talented youth from Sindh will be eligible to apply for scholarships.”

For obtaining scholarships, he went on to say, the students would have to come up to the merit set by the university.
