Pakistan Armed Forces adopt advanced tech, training to meet future battlefield demands
Bahawalpur, Pakistan | Web Desk – Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, emphasized that Pakistan’s Armed Forces are fully prepared to defend the nation amid a rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare. Speaking at Steadfast Resolve military exercises in Khairpur Tamiwali, he highlighted the use of drones, advanced surveillance, electronic warfare, and cutting-edge command-and-control systems.
Field Marshal Munir praised the high morale, professionalism, and operational readiness of the troops, stressing that future battlefields will demand top-level preparation across all units. He noted that technological warfare will increasingly replace conventional methods and urged a shift in mindset to embrace innovation and indigenization as core pillars of military strength.
During his visit, Field Marshal Munir inaugurated the Rohi e-Skills Learning Hub, aimed at promoting digital skills among students in Southern Punjab and across Pakistan. He also opened the Army Public School Abbasiya Campus, reaffirming the military’s commitment to quality education and character building. A visit to the EME Regional Workshop provided him insights into modern platform maintenance, indigenization, and technological advancements.
Upon arrival at Bahawalpur Garrison, Field Marshal Munir was warmly received by the Commander Bahawalpur Corps, laid floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial, and paid homage to the nation’s heroes.
