NEW DELHI – Web Desk: Another Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft has crashed, exposing pilot incompetence and raising serious questions about India’s defense preparedness, according to Indian media reports.
An IAF AN-32 transport aircraft crashed in Assam’s Jorhat district, catching fire after landing, India Today reported. The IAF has confirmed the accident. So far in 2026, a total of 11 IAF fighter jets and one helicopter have crashed, according to the report.
Experts say the continuous crashes have exposed India’s hollow defense preparedness and technical decline. The increasing number of accidents with each passing day reflects severe internal chaos, negligence, and technical deterioration within the Indian Air Force.
