KARACHI: Another incident occurred in Karachi where a young girl fell into an open manhole but was rescued in time by people present at the scene.
Open manholes in Karachi continue to pose a serious danger. Reportedly, in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, another innocent child fell into a manhole, and the video of the incident quickly went viral on social media.
The girl who fell was immediately pulled out by bystanders, after which she was cleaned with water.
Police stated that the video appears to be from Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town. Investigations are underway to confirm the location and determine the exact date of the incident.
It is worth noting that just two days earlier, near Nipa Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, a three-year-old boy named Ibrahim tragically fell into an open manhole and lost his life. His body was discovered 15 hours later by a garbage collector.
