Anmol Pinky is High-Profile Accused, Producing Her in City Court a Public Risk: Jail Officials

KARACHI – Web Desk: Jail authorities have declared Anmol Pinky, the alleged “cocaine queen,” a high-profile accused and stated that producing her in City Court poses a risk to the public, according to Express News.

Jail officials submitted a report to the court requesting permission for video link appearance in 18 cases. The report stated that producing the high-profile accused in City Court presents a security risk, and if an unpleasant incident occurs during her appearance, ordinary citizens could also be affected. Authorities requested that the accused be allowed video link appearance from Women’s Central Jail.

A judicial magistrate had ordered Women’s Jail authorities to produce Anmol Pinky on May 25. According to police, the accused is on judicial remand in 18 cases, including murder, illegal weapons, and narcotics charges. Cases have been registered against her at Garden, Baghdadi, Darekhan, Defence, Ghazri, Sachal, and SIU Central police stations.
