Islamabad: (Web Desk) Pakistani cyber experts have revealed a major discovery: the official social media handle of the Afghan State Newspapers Department was quietly rebranded as “Afghan Defence”, and is now being used directly for anti-Pakistan propaganda.
According to the report, this handle previously served as a source of official information and communication. However, it has now shifted into a platform for digital operations and hostile narratives targeting Pakistan.
Experts confirmed that posts signaling potential attacks on Islamabad were traced back to the same Afghan state-linked handlers, labeling the content as threatening and propaganda-driven.
The report further highlights that the Afghan interim government has failed to control or restrict these accounts, allowing them to evolve into a full-fledged propaganda machine.
