Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has unveiled a five-year special economic strategy for Pakistan, aiming to drive sustainable growth, increase investment, and expand employment opportunities from 2026 to 2030.
The strategy emphasizes private sector-led growth, targeting key areas including energy, agriculture, and infrastructure, while promoting women’s economic participation and broader social development. It also includes measures to address climate change and natural disaster resilience.
According to the ADB report, the plan sets out to strengthen exports, enhance investment inflows, and create more job opportunities, fostering inclusive development across the country.
ADB officials stated that the bank is committed to deepening its collaboration with Pakistan to ensure the nation is placed on a sustainable and stable economic growth path.
