WEB DESK: China has said that US sanctions and economic pressure will not resolve the crisis surrounding Iran, calling on Washington to abandon its “maximum pressure” approach and pursue dialogue.
The remarks came as tensions between the United States and Iran remain high following Washington’s latest sanctions targeting Tehran.
China’s position reflects Beijing’s longstanding opposition to unilateral sanctions and its calls for disputes involving Iran to be addressed through diplomatic channels.
