US President Donald Trump has approved a long-term civil nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, marking a significant step in energy cooperation between the two allies.

According to the newspaper, the proposed nuclear cooperation agreement will remain in effect for 30 years and is estimated to be worth several billion dollars, making it one of the largest long-term energy partnerships between Washington and Riyadh.
