Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for strikes targeting what it described as enemy weapons depots in Bahrain and Kuwait, saying the operations were carried out in response to recent US military attacks on Iran.
Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: In a statement, the IRGC said it had targeted a drone launch facility at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, describing the operation as retaliation against US actions.
The force also warned that oil and gas exports from the region would not continue uninterrupted as long as what it called “US aggression” persists, adding that Washington’s military actions would only delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC reiterated that the strikes were part of Iran’s response to recent US attacks, amid escalating tensions across the Gulf region.
