Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf Warns US: ‘If You Attack, You Will Be Attacked’

Date:

TEHRAN – Web Desk: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a stark warning to the United States, declaring that intimidation, threats, and violations will no longer go unanswered.

In a post on X, Ghalibaf stated: “I want to make it clear — if you attack, you will be attacked.” He also rejected US pressure over the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that the strategic waterway will only be opened under Iranian arrangements — not American threats.

Ghalibaf further warned the US to refrain from aimless maneuvering, saying: “Avoid flailing aimlessly, or you will sink deeper into the quagmire.” His remarks come amid escalating tensions between the US and Iran, with the security of the Strait of Hormuz drawing international focus.

The US recently conducted strikes on Iranian cities including Bandar Abbas. A firefighter was killed and a railway bridge was also targeted in the attacks.
