Karachi, Pakistan – (Web Desk) Gold prices in Pakistan continued their sharp upward trend on Friday, recording another significant increase for the second consecutive day, with the cumulative rise exceeding Rs21,000 per tola over the past two trading sessions.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs12,200, reaching Rs440,936.

Meanwhile, in the international bullion market, the price of gold climbed by $122 per ounce, reaching $4,185 per ounce, providing strong support for the rise in domestic gold prices.
The latest increase comes a day after gold prices jumped by Rs9,100 per tola, pushing the total increase over the last two days to more than Rs21,300 per tola.
Market analysts attribute the continued rally to rising international gold prices, increased demand for safe-haven assets, and ongoing uncertainty in global financial markets.
