Iran warns of ‘Devastating Response’ if agreement is breached

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has warned that it will deliver a “devastating response” if any party violates the terms of a recent agreement, escalating rhetoric amid ongoing regional and diplomatic tensions.

According to Iranian media, Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said in a post on the social media platform X that Iran would not hesitate to respond forcefully if the agreement is breached or if Israel violates any ceasefire arrangements.

Qalibaf stated that he is acting under the directives of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and is responsible for ensuring full implementation of all provisions of the agreement.

He further said that President Masoud Pezeshkian has assured that Iran will not accept any “extra or unusual conditions” if imposed by the United States during implementation.

The senior Iranian official added that any deviation from the agreement or attempts to introduce additional demands would be met with a strong and “devastating response,” reiterating Tehran’s hardened stance on compliance and enforcement.

Referring to recent Iran–US tensions, Qalibaf claimed that Iran has already demonstrated its military and strategic capabilities and warned that any renewed escalation would be met with an even stronger reaction.

The statement comes amid heightened sensitivity in the region following reports of diplomatic understandings between Iran and the United States, with observers closely watching for potential shifts in the fragile geopolitical balance.
