Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering major structural changes that could see former national team captains assigned key administrative and coaching roles, according to sources.
Reports suggest that former captain Younis Khan may be appointed as head coach of the Pakistan Test team, with an additional role in the national selection committee also under consideration.
Sources further indicate that Mohammad Hafeez could be given the position of Director of International Cricket at the PCB, along with a possible role in the national selection setup.
It is also reported that changes may be made in the Test team management, with head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and captain Shan Masood potentially being removed from their current roles. However, Sarfaraz Ahmed is expected to continue his responsibilities with the Pakistan Shaheens side.
The PCB has not officially confirmed these developments.
