QUETTA – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that no enemy will dare cast an evil eye on Pakistan again, following what he called a crushing and unforgettable lesson delivered to adversaries by the Pakistan Air Force’s “Shaheens” and Fateh missiles one year ago.
Addressing the Command and Staff College in Quetta, the Prime Minister said, “Today I am among the brave sons and daughters of Pakistan. We are proud of our defenders who guard our sovereignty. One year ago, Pakistan faced Indian provocation. The enemy believed it was far more powerful, but it failed to realize that Pakistan’s efforts for peace were not a sign of weakness – they were our strength.”
PM Shehbaz Sharif stated that Operation Ghazb-e-Haq has instilled fear in the hearts of Pakistan’s enemies. “The operation continues with full force and resolve. Under the influence of Afghan Taliban, terrorist proxy elements will be dealt with effectively. Terrorist hideouts and support structures will be punished. Pakistan will pay any price to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any misadventure.”
On the US-Iran conflict, the Prime Minister said the war had pushed the entire region into uncertainty and economic vulnerability. “Pakistan advised both parties to choose peace through dialogue. As a result of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, the US and Iran announced a ceasefire on April 8. I thank President Trump’s courageous leadership and my dear brother Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian for responding positively to our request.”
He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestinian rights and the people of occupied Kashmir, saying, “We will continue our moral, political, and diplomatic support for the innocent people of occupied Kashmir.”
