Quetta, Pakistan – Web Desk: Asim Munir on Monday said externally sponsored terrorism, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns would not be able to obstruct Pakistan’s progress and national development.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the army chief visited Quetta, where he interacted with officers and faculty members at the Command and Staff College before meeting officers and troops deployed across Balochistan.
Addressing military personnel, Field Marshal Asim Munir said Pakistan’s “destined rise” could not be stopped through fake news, hostile propaganda, or terrorism backed by external elements.
The army chief praised the Command and Staff College for maintaining high standards of military education, professionalism, and intellectual excellence, noting that its graduates had consistently demonstrated commitment and outstanding performance in service.
Highlighting the changing dynamics of modern warfare, Munir emphasized the importance of adapting to emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, and enhanced coordination among the armed forces.
He urged officers and troops to continue improving their training and preparedness to effectively respond to evolving battlefield challenges while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence and professionalism.
The visit comes amid ongoing security challenges in Balochistan and broader regional concerns over terrorism and national security.
