Peshawar, Pakistan – Web Desk: Residents in Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have voiced growing concern over rising inflation, deteriorating law and order, increasing corruption, and unemployment, with criticism mounting against Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
Citizens accused the provincial leadership of focusing on political activities instead of addressing key public issues, including security challenges and economic hardships faced by ordinary people across the province.
Several residents expressed frustration over what they described as worsening governance, claiming the provincial administration had failed to effectively control inflation and improve public safety. Critics also said increasing corruption and declining business activity were making life increasingly difficult for citizens.
Residents urged the provincial government to prioritize public welfare, restore peace and stability, and take immediate measures to tackle rising prices and unemployment.
The criticism comes amid broader public debate in Pakistan over governance, economic pressures, and security concerns affecting several regions of the country.
