Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit China from May 23 to May 25 for high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to discuss regional developments, strategic cooperation, and economic partnerships.
The visit will also coincide with celebrations marking 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, highlighting the long-standing strategic partnership between the two nations.
Officials say several agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are likely to be signed during the trip, covering multiple sectors of mutual interest.
Key discussions are expected on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), trade expansion, investment opportunities, infrastructure development, and broader bilateral cooperation.
The upcoming visit is being viewed as an important diplomatic engagement as Islamabad and Beijing continue efforts to deepen economic integration and regional connectivity under CPEC and other strategic initiatives.
