Pakistan Military, Civil Leadership Vow Strong Defence Stance

Date:

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s civil and military leadership has reiterated a strong commitment to national defence and public security, stressing that the country’s strategic capability and military confidence have deterred external aggression.

According to officials, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Armed Forces, stating that any form of aggression against Pakistan would be met with a strong and decisive response.

In a statement referenced from 8 May 2025, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Pakistan’s military exposed what it described as hostile actions and claimed that multiple intruding drones—reportedly of foreign origin—were intercepted and destroyed.

The military spokesperson further stated that any escalation in regional tensions risks pushing the entire region toward instability. He added that Pakistan’s response, if required, would be clear and visible without the need for media amplification.

Pakistan’s defence leadership reaffirmed its resolve to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, borders, and civilian population at all costs, emphasizing readiness and strategic deterrence as core elements of national security policy.
