Sindh CM Approves Laptop Scheme for Minority Students

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah held a meeting with Member of the Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs Roma Mushtaq Matu, where key issues faced by minority communities, women, and youth were discussed in detail.

During the meeting, Roma Mushtaq Matu, aligned with the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, proposed a special laptop distribution scheme for minority students and young people. The initiative aims to empower youth in the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence by improving access to modern education and digital skills.

She emphasized that the initiative would not only facilitate access to education but also strengthen digital literacy and create economic opportunities for young people.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah described technology as a key driver of development and immediately approved the proposal, directing the relevant department to take necessary action.

He reaffirmed that under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh government continues to take practical steps for minority rights, women’s protection, and youth development, adding that a future under his leadership would bring historic progress for minority communities.
