CIA Report Says Most of Iran’s Missile System Still Intact

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: A classified assessment by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has reportedly concluded that Iran has managed to preserve a significant portion of its military capabilities despite weeks of intense airstrikes and bombardment.

According to US media reports, the intelligence review states that Iran still retains nearly 70% of its missile stockpile and approximately 75% of its mobile missile launchers, a development seen as significant amid escalating regional tensions.

The report further claims that Iran has reactivated several underground missile facilities while continuing repair work on damaged systems and producing new weapons.

US intelligence estimates also suggest that Iran is unlikely to feel the immediate impact of American naval blockades and economic pressure, and could sustain the current situation for at least three to four months.

The findings contrast with recent remarks by former US President Donald Trump, who claimed during remarks at the Oval Office that most of Iran’s missile capabilities had been destroyed and that only 18% to 19% remained operational.

However, the classified intelligence report reportedly presents a different picture, indicating that Iran’s strategic military infrastructure remains largely functional.

US officials have also acknowledged that Iranian leadership is showing stronger resistance than initially anticipated. One official said Iran’s military and political leadership has adopted an even tougher stance following recent attacks and is reinforcing its defence strategy rather than retreating.
