Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, during which both leaders discussed the evolving situation in the region and ongoing diplomatic efforts for sustainable peace.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the call featured a cordial exchange in which both sides reviewed regional developments and reiterated their commitment to advancing diplomatic initiatives aimed at ensuring long-term stability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif referred to his recent visit to Doha on April 16, noting that his meetings with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Qatari leadership had helped build consensus on promoting peace in the region.
He also said that the people of Pakistan look forward to a forthcoming visit by the Qatari Emir, expressing confidence that it would further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Qatari Prime Minister appreciated Pakistan’s continued efforts for peace and stability in the Middle East and reaffirmed Doha’s support for Islamabad’s diplomatic initiatives in the region.
Both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination and continued consultation on matters of mutual interest.
