GAZA – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates has organized a mass wedding ceremony for 300 Palestinian couples in Gaza to bring joy, hope, and new beginnings to lives devastated by ongoing conflict, foreign media reported on Friday.
The event was held under the UAE’s “Gallant Knight 3” campaign in collaboration with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. Earlier this month, 1,191 individuals had applied for the wedding, out of which 300 couples were selected through a lottery system.
The UAE had previously organized a mass wedding for 54 couples in Khan Younis last December.
According to media reports, Gaza’s population of over two million has been displaced due to the war, with the humanitarian crisis worsening amid food shortages, limited healthcare services, and restricted access to aid.
