6 Killed in Israeli Strikes on South Lebanon Despite Ceasefire

Date:

BEIRUT – Web Desk: Six more people have been killed in Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreement in place, authorities confirmed.

Israeli forces carried out strikes in the region on the previous day, resulting in six fatalities and two injuries. The attacks represent ongoing violations of the ceasefire arrangement.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that ongoing conflicts have displaced 32 million people across Iran and Lebanon, with most health centers destroyed or shut down.

According to the WHO, diseases are rising in Lebanon while medicine supplies remain critically low. The global health body urgently requires $33 million to address the growing humanitarian crisis.
